@jbcrail, Thanks again for the 2017 work on the package-building tool. Many of the ideas in your version have been incorporated in the new Package-Builder code and its pbrelease command-line tool. The code simplification in the newer version has results from a substantial narrowing of the goals of the tool that you created.
