DRAFT WIP -- Enhance examine #291

@donboyd5, I'm confused. PR #291 is titled "Enhance examine", but it include hundreds of *_targets.csv files. Why is that? What prepare logic have you changed?

That was an accidental push. I'm away but will delete it in the morning.

Didn't intend to include csv files for this. It is just a code WIP.
