I totally agree Richard, and there's a plan afoot ;-).
I'm envisaging a side by side 'diff' view for moderation. Highlighting item additions, removals and moves.
I'm afraid I can't promise anything imminently, as the queue is never ending. We're working hard to continue improving performance, and reimplimenting rebus:list 1.x features at the moment, but we're not far off now with scan requests functionality just around the corner, and a 'flat mode' to allow for adequate performance for those that opt to not take advantage of the hierarchical structures. Once those are ticked off then this area of functionality is next on my hit list ;-)
Hello - a similar issue. Can we flag up the lists that have been sent for moderation? It makes it much easier to know what we need to publish during the current period where staff cannot publish their lists themselves. thanks!
Hi Eleanor
Many thanks for this. We're keen to make it easier for moderators to identify lists with outstanding moderation requests. Currently, it's possible to see lists with outstanding moderation requests via the "My Lists" page and choosing the "Under moderation" filter. We're intending making this simpler, and also adding notifications when moderation requests are made.
This is a related issue: https://github.com/PTFS-Europe/rebus-list-2/issues/166
Many thanks Andrew
Just to update, improvements have been made in this area with the new "View changes" view. See documentation: http://rebuslist.readthedocs.io/en/latest/reviewing-changes.html
Hi
When a staff member submits an item for moderation, on opening the list in edit mode it's not very clear which item requires attention. On lists containing a large number of items, it can be difficult to work out which item has just been added.
Is there a way of highlighting each items(s) on the list that is under moderation? A red exclamation mark like the one at the top of the list or something similar?
Many thanks
Richard
