Hello, I share the problem during VTOL development.

steps

Flight and tuning in stabilized mode
In altitude mode, a gust of wind caused the person to fail to strike a pose and fall.
When switching to position mode, it shakes violently and falls.

About Drone AYK-3500 VTOL CUAV X7, neo v2 FLAME 80A 12s 2.0 mn805s(Tmotor) Firmware 1.13.2

Is PID tuning wrong?

The flight is stable in stabilized mode.

What I see:

roll/pitch tracking borderline stable
transition to fixed-wing is triggered through flipping transition switch
vehicle doesn't pick up speed (was the fixed-wing propeller even mounted?)
pilot switches back to Hover
roll/pitch tracking seems to be worse than in the beginning
pilot switches to Stabilized, and as the throttle stick is only at around 45% the vehicle begins to drop in altitude quite rapidly
