I have disabled Render Optimizations because I actually enjoy the 3D effect. I can't disable Render Optimizations online though, and I would like to disable them because I need the 3D effect to play effectively. Is this intentional?

Yep this is intentional, render optimizations are forced online.

can it be disabled when not playing CTWW? I understand if this feature was introduced for CTs, but when playing vanilla, i'd really like to have 3D enabled.
