Citra Throwing Fatal error when Running Tomodachi life/Cirtain System apps #157

Open Dal1ster opened 3 months ago

Is there an existing issue for this?

Affected Build(s)

Citra PabloMK7 4f174f1

Description of Issue

for some reason, all the titles that fatal error out for me on citra even though i made sure to dump everything i can is Face Raiders StreetPass Mii Plaza Mii Maker Activity Log Tomodachi Life

i dont know what they have in common, but something about them causes my citra to either throw a fatal error and crash, or throw a fatal error and continue, but it softlocks loading things or spammed the error

Expected Behavior

I expected the listed applications to boot up sucsessfuly without throwing any sort of fatal error

Reproduction Steps

Dump Needed 3DS data Dump Tomodachi Life data Install both Run tomodachi life run listed affected software See error

Log File

citra_log.txt.old.txt citra_log.txt While the only true modification that i did the the emu was move the userdata folder to itself due to taking up too much space on my system drive, the rest of the emu is almost default

System Configuration

CPU:Intel i-5 9600k @3.70 GhZ GPU/Driver: NviDia 3060 555.85 RAM:32 gigs OS: Win 10

While a similar error happened when running TL from arctic base (see #114 ) , this time, the game was dumped from my 3ds and directly installed in the emulator

The thing they have in common is that they all have Miis! Something to try is, if you have dumped the proper data then go into 'Emulation>Configure>System' and download system files from Nintendo.

Idk if it will fix the issue but it will allow Mii faces to be rendered

I made sure to download o3ds files, but still fatal error, although I can't do any testing until Monday due to being 5 hours away for a trip

Although looking in the data management settings in the home menu, i do notice something odd. For the saved software titles, apart from my dumped title (TL), theres a bunch of other titles that take up 0 blocks and have no name with a ? icon, along with a blank named title with a black icon in streetpass management

For some reason the emulator is not being able to access the configured nand folder. Make sure that folder actually exists and is accesible. If not, change the path from emulation setting to somewhere else that is accessible,
