When TASing a game, one of the limitations I found was that when you played a movie, you can't continue recording it after the movie playback has been finished. My idea was to include a feature that allows players to open a movie and, instead of playing it back, have the option to jump to the end and continue recording it from there.
Why would this feature be useful?
Including this option can be really useful: not only would it prevent the issue of having to TAS the game in one sitting, especially for longer and/or content-rich games, it also allows the players to pause the recording at their leisure, close Citra then come back and resume the TASing where they left off. Though, I'm sure it could also be a QoL feature more than anything.
