Citra Crashing on Mac and freezing it on MacBook Air #223

Issue

So I am trying to play a modified version of pokemon alpha sapphire called pokemon sinking sapphire. My game randomly crashes within a little bit of opening the game, but also crashes my whole mac. In about 15 seconds, it takes me back to the opening screen of the mac and after I log in, Citra is closed but everything else works. I saw a different post about this on github and a different version of citra was suggested to the user that made that issue, and even though it worked for that person, it still does not for me with that version. I am wondering if this is an issue with that modifier of the game, or a citra issue in itself. Any help to fix this issue is appreciated. Thank you!

Are you able to post logs? I'll try and look into this. Also, if you can link me the patch (not ROM) you are using specficially so I can try and reproduce the issue.

Also what are your specifications? Are you using an Intel or Apple Silicon Mac?
