Issue entering unsafe mode #4

After doing the rop injection i get to the point where it says hit x to enter unsafemode. I hit x and then the 3ds just goes to the home screen then turns off. Any idea how to fix that?

Can you give more info? Target console region and type. Also, does it keep happening? Does the bottom screen flash green when you inject unSAFE_MODE?

I did it 7 or 8 times and it happened every time. I tried it on both the old and new 3ds both NA region.  I am using a new 3ds as the host console. Yes it flashes green but then goes to the home screen and powers off on the old 3ds On the new 3ds it flashes green then turns off

This is exactly what should happen, keep in mind that the exploit installs unSAFE_MODE or menuhax67 (depending on what you selected). After that, you should follow the instructions for those exploits.
