Feature Request: Add HSK Level info #46

Open masisley opened 4 years ago

Often times when looking up a word, I’m curious to know its HSK level. If it’s not in HSK, it’s possibly not worth learning right now. If it’s lower than the HSK level I claim to be at, then oopsie I really need to learn it. If it’s at about my HSK level, then I should commit to learning it soon. Any chance we could add this info?

There's already HSK level! Use Shift or Return to switch to Hanzi information. The HSK level is on the top right. You can see it in the second screenshot in the extension's page: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/zhongzhong-an-improved-ch/dggcgdjndddfmcfoipccicfoajmciacf

Sorry I realized now that you were asking for words and not for characters. Does HSK have official lists of words to be learned at each level? If so it shouldn't be too hard to add that information.

Sorry for the delay in responding. The functionality you mentioned is neat, thanks for pointing that out - I will use that in the future. However, as you mentioned, it would be nice to have the information for full words in addition to characters. I found this, though I'm sure there's probably another easier to consume list: https://hsk.academy/en/hsk_5. It might be easiest just to export everything from pleco.

I'll do this. It shouldn't be hard.
