There is no grade in web against the selected class of screenshot

ghachey commented 1 year ago

@sahaarpan5 I believe what you are screenshooting is the Gradebook Grades. There is no Gradebook Grades, correct. But there should but the basic "Input Final Grades". I see nothing. Please refer to the web screenshot I put above again.

openSISAdmin commented 1 year ago

@sahaarpan5

You have to build the Get Gradebook Grades and the Input Final Grades functionalities.

Sometimes Teachers will skip using the grade book and will directly enter a final grade. For these cases, we need the ability to enter the grade.

This grade will then show up on the report card and transcript. Please make sure of that.

ghachey commented 1 year ago

@openSISAdmin this is still a missing core feature.

openSISAdmin commented 1 year ago

@ghachey Please check to see if it is working.

ghachey commented 1 year ago

@openSISAdmin I do not see this in the latest build, no.

sahaarpan5 commented 1 year ago

@ghachey new APK has been live in play store.Please check now.

@sahaarpan5 and @openSISAdmin here is my feedback on this. It is working but:

  1. It does not provide the ability to enter the grade as percentage and letter like on the web app. We are forced to enter as Letter.
  2. Can it be made a little bit more tidy? Like for example, the teacher comment as shown below.

Can this be made more a little like the Attendance for comments? Like below with the popup on a small comment icon? This would make the UI a it more consistent perhaps?

@sahaarpan5

See the markup. we have to make this usable for the Teachers.

Thanks

@sahaarpan5 This seems to be working incorrectly. @openSISAdmin can you explain to the developer how this is suppose to work. Both the web app and the app seems to get this completely wrong.

For example, the school I am working on in the test systems (i.e. Mango Elementary School in https://pacificsis.pacific-emis.org). The school is configured with marking periods to only grade quarters and nowhere is anything graded. Check below section.

Yet, when going to the gradebook configuration tab I get the following. Look carefully at those two screenshot and how can one make sense of this?

@ghachey can you please check

ghachey commented 1 year ago

@sahaarpan5 I am unable to test this at the moment. It is not possible to open any class. Perhaps because it is time for rollover? However, the app should allow teachers to open their classes and do data entry even beyond the school date as long as the rollover as not taken place.

@sahaarpan5 Why am I still seeing Semester one as shown below?

Screenshot_20240501_121715_Pacific-SIS

When Semester 1 is not marked for grading in that school?

Otherwise, everything else in this issue seems to have been fixed. So if you can please look at what I describe in this comment and try to get it fully cleaned up.
