User has to enter data into the fields.

Put 100 in all the fields and click Submit.

ghachey commented 1 year ago

@openSISAdmin please have a closer look at the fields. Why is there Semester 1 and not Semester 2? Why semester 1 has a field only for quarter 2? A close look.

openSISAdmin commented 1 year ago

@ghachey

Check to see if Semester 2 is marked as graded or not.

Let's make sure all are graded, then let's inspect the situation.

ghachey commented 1 year ago

@openSISAdmin Only the quarters are marked for grading in that school. You can check it out in the test system I shared in a recent email with you. The school is "Mango Elementary School".

ghachey commented 1 year ago

@openSISAdmin This remains an unusable core feature as this can not be configured correctly.

ghachey commented 1 year ago

Looks bettter but how does one save the configuration? No button and every time I move away and come back it is back to all 0s.

Not yet working as I see it here.

openSISAdmin commented 1 year ago

@Suman-Os4ed Check the save button and make sure data is saving.

Suman-Os4ed commented 1 year ago

@ghachey , @openSISAdmin ,Save button didn't show because at 31st July school year ended after school year end the save button are blocked.

@Suman-Os4ed @openSISAdmin Completely blocking this sort of thing after the school year ends is not useful. Disallowing grade inputs after the grade posting dates is also not useful. Nobody argues the best way to work is in a timely manner and such configuration takes place at the beginning of the school year with data entry throughout the school year on time. However, we gain nothing by putting hard limits on dates like. All we do it effectively stop people from doing their work if they are a little late. As long as it does not affect any transactions (such as after a rollover) data entry should be allowed and passing deadlines should merely raise red flag warnings (much like attendance). While I am confident the original issue reported here is fixed I am unable to test this until we rollover into this new year.
