My thanks to Paul Teale for the great unique book about the flame-engine. I post this thread just in case if anybody is curious about sample code migration to the latest version of the flame packages. You can find the flame v1.8.0 migration steps in this repository: https://github.com/tnsoftbear/migrate_building_games_with_flutter_book_app Feel free to post PR and issues there, if you see necessary fixes that can be applied more.
