For the non-initiated, I think it might be better to skip slides (and discussion) on model selection: AIC, how to select variables, etc. Or reduce it, and integrate it better with model building and interpretation before.
Try to add a few more interactive examples (like the dance of CIs, tidying up messy dataset). Otherwise too much speaking from me, and they get tired and may disconnect.
Could the afternoon session be moved to following morning? They are tired after an intense morning...
