Ok, @SimonGoring my conversion table is here: https://github.com/andydawson/stepps-data/blob/master/pollen.equiv.csv
I agree it should be a data product online. Let's go through it together ASAP. It would be nice to be able to link to it from the calibration paper.

Monday is great. Safe travels!
Following up. Updated pollen translation table. Now, R neotoma will have a translation table with a stepps column. Calcote data has been updated so we can use the same translation table on it. Make sure to read data in so R does not insert periods where spaces should be! Will reduce table to list only the pollen taxa that appear in our UMW data set and link to this from the pollen-veg calibration publication. And maybe from Ellen's paper too, since this data is also based on this same table.
Simon, when you upload the table can you make a note here? (This will remind me to condense the table for the pubs.)
This issue is now closed.
The pollen equivalence should be aligned back to the ropensci/neotoma#179 which is also getting a bit messy and needs to be dealt with.
