Saving Settings #113

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. When I go into settings and save directories, they are fine until I
restrat my computer and then all setting are wiped out.

I would like for the settings to stay. Any ideas

This is really weird. What operating system are you using?
You can check if your configuration file (.hawkscope.properties) is physically
created in you home folder:

    * Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\username\
    * Windows Vista: C:\Users\username\
    * Linux: /home/username
    * Mac: /Users/username

I have the same problem. My other settings are saved, and the properties
configuration file exists, BUT my 'quick access' locations are lost when I
restart.
I am using XP (SP3)

are you sure you are using the latest version? There was a release to fix Issue
#109
which is related to this problem.
