Documentation and update of "About" and "Help"

• [ ] Document in a CRAN style all inputs for function(s) called when an app model is executed plus the raw outputs (no documentation for display options). This requires extensive familiarity with Bayesian modelling. As part of the Github documentation for each app there should be two pdf files with permanent name/location within the corresponding GitHub repository. Such pdf files are subject to future updates and provide

  • a brief description of the app and
  • help information.

• [ ] To start, use a placeholder description and help. In each app there will be two interface buttons (“About” and “Help”) that when pressed display each of the pdfs.

  • When applicable, for existing apps,
  • the button “Cite” should be renamed “About”. When applicable,
  • the existing button "Help" is kept in place but add to the left of these three
  • other buttons that open the following websites in new tabs:
    • “Data search” https://pandorasearch.earth/
    • “Pandora” pandora.earth
    • “IsoMeMo” isomemo.com
  • for this, modularize (-> DataTools) and apply the same UI in all apps:
  • idea: indicate in the app title if the app is beta or not via a global variable
  • maybe create a module for the complete title of an app?

We could add an e-mail button next to "About" and "Help" buttons, say "Contact"

• an e-mail subject would always contain the name of the app where the button was clicked

@isomemo We already included a new header module into ChangeR that contains:

• a button with the "MPI" logo and a link to: https://www.mpg.de/en
• a button with the "IsoMemo" logo and a link to: https://isomemo.com/
• a button containing the symbol "?" and a link to the respective documentation of the app: https://pandora-isomemo.github.io/ChangeR/

We discussed the idea to add

• a new button with the "Pandora & Isomemo" logo and a link to the docu for all apps: https://pandora-isomemo.github.io/docs/

Links to Github can be found directly in the docu (1) and I would not add another button for Github:
