The only option for an alarm to indicate that the alarm has not been confirmed (and thus is inactive) is three fast short buzzes. However, this is the same feedback as for the initial sequence of two of the options which indicate that the alarm has been sent (Three short-pause-Three short and the SOS pattern). There is thus insufficient difference between the two.
We should come up with a more distinctive pattern for the ‘Alarm not confirmed’ to avoid similarities. I am not sure what this would be but the least ambitious change would be to have four short buzzes for it.
