Text-to-speech on Firefox #16

Absolutely love your extension (especially the text-to-speech function in Mandarin & Cantonese) but too bad I can't use it at work on Firefox.

I notice that a similar named LiuChan extension is avaialble on Firefox. (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/liuchan) Everything seems to be working alright except that the text-to-speech function doesn't work. Is it that the Firefox browser doesn't support TTS or it's something to do with the codes?

Hope an official extension with proper TTS can be made available for Firefox. Thank you for making such a useful extension for learning Chinese!

The Liuchan which is hosted on the Firefox extension is uploaded by someone other than me. I'm currently rewriting some code to make it cross browser compatible. Hopefully soon I'll be able to host it on Firefox as well.

One nice thing the Firefox fork has Cantonese support. From a quick test, seems to work really well on Firefox. I know Cantonese support is on the todo list, but I wonder how easy it would be to port the Firefox Cantonese support over.

There's currently no good Jyutping Cantonese popup dictionary. The best I've found is Cantonese Popup Dictionary, but it is in Yale and it is a hack/hasn't had any updates since 2015.

The TTS is a great feature though. It's something I didn't know I wanted in a popup dictionary.
