@jEsuSdA what are the names of the icons?
@SmartFinn , I can't say cause Darkplaces load the original game files (eg. darkplaces -basedir /route/to/quake1/files) and the quake1 files I have is the Windows version of the game, so, the icon is inside the .exe file.
I suppose the names should be "quake" (for Q1) "quake2", "quake3" and "quake4".
I'll search for my original Quake3 linux version for discover if this have an icon file, but I don't know I will be able to find it (I played Q3 long time ago) ;)
Good luck!! I found my Q3 copy. The icon name is "quake3.xpm" (there are other files named "icon.xpm", "icon.bmp", etc. but these does not are useful cause their generic name) so, I think the previous suggestion could be fine:
"quake" (for Q1) "quake2", "quake3" and "quake4". And maybe a symlink from quake to quake1 too.
Cheers!!
I found some new data: There is a Debian package called quake3 that installs a launcher for playing Quake3 game via ioquake3 (a free and open source quake3 engine).
The quake3 package installs 2 icons: quake3
and quake3-team-arena
;)
So beautiful! Thanks a lot, @varlesh ! ;)
Recently I discover "Darkplaces" a 3D engine that can runs Quake I files with a lot of graphics improvements.
So, I propose you make Quake saga icons: Quake I
Quake II
Quake III (Which can be natively played under linux)
Quake IV
Thanks! ;)
