The redshift tray icon looks blury #3020

Desktop environment: KDE
Installing method: AUR papirus-icon-theme-git 1:20220302.r4.ge47623461d-1

Compared to other tray icons the redshift icon looks noticably blury.

try qt version: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/redshift-qt

It doesn't get updated like the main redshift package does, so I'm not sure that's a good alternative.

Is this the qt or main gtk release? And if so what happens if you scale up the icons by moving the task bar to the left and making it wider?

It's GTK version 1.12-2

Maybe there are several unlucky factors involved, I'm not too bothered by it. If there is no clear technical reasons for this and it can't be reproduced, I'll just close this for now. Thank you @varlesh for trying to reproduce.
