Since Papirus isn't shipping a modified icon, could we remove this icon from the theme? Right now it's causing confusion over in https://github.com/wez/wezterm/issues/2052 because it is presenting an icon from an older version of WezTerm and interfering with newer versions of wezterm.

I agree. Since the icon is not even stylized for the theme pack, having a duplicate in papirus does not make much sense.

I don't quite understand how the icon theme can trigger the launch of two processes Westerm and wezterm-gui? The icon theme is just a stylization of a single style and nothing more.

@uncomfyhalomacro Try set on desktop file this option: StartupWMClass=org.wezfurlong.wezterm https://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Specifications/startup-notification-spec/
