4.13.11-1-ARCH doublecmd-gtk2 0.7.8-1 papirus-icon-theme-git 1:r1929.697dba643-1

Try set StartupWMClass: https://github.com/PapirusDevelopmentTeam/papirus-icon-theme/issues/566

hxss commented 6 years ago

thats right? Didn't help. Vivaldi and Telegram ignore new icons in window title(and taskbar) too. But I know for sure that doublecmd should use an icon from theme. screenshot from 2017-11-14 23-35-23

See your screen, desktop-file show Papirus icon... it's upstream bug your DE

@hxss How did you set the StartupWMCLass?

hxss commented 6 years ago

@bil-elmoussaoui desktop file opened in sublime on the last screenshot

varlesh commented 6 years ago

@hxss show doublecmd on xprop | grep WM_CLASS?

hxss commented 6 years ago

@varlesh WM_CLASS(STRING) = "doublecmd", "Doublecmd"

bilelmoussaoui commented 6 years ago

You should use Doublecmd instead of doublecmd

hxss commented 6 years ago

@bil-elmoussaoui Change to Doublecmd. Still old icon in use.

bilelmoussaoui commented 6 years ago

You have closed the app before?

hxss commented 6 years ago

@bil-elmoussaoui Of course. In Mate same problem with same apps. In budge(gnome) all works good.

hxss commented 6 years ago

I were try set StartupWMClass=Sublime_text or StartupWMClass=sublime_text for doublecmd - nothing changed. I also were try set StartupWMClass=Sublime_text or StartupWMClass=sublime_text for gnome-screenshot(that already use icon from papirus pack) - nothing changed too. And I restart app after every .desktop file change.
