Teams that start their retrospectives ahead of time to allow members to reflect early would like a simple way to then return to the icebreaker phase. We had two requests for this from different orgs in the same day!
Allow us to start the retro board at the beginning of the sprint without bypassing the ice-breaker activity. In other words, we want this sequence: 1- start/publish board, 2-let people add their comments for two weeks 3-Do ice-breaker activity during retro meeting at end of sprint, 4-discuss posted comments.
Allow people to enter reflections prior to the icebreaker. The team likes to open the retro meeting early so that they can capture reflections when they happen, but if you do that you have to skip the icebreaker
