Hi, great app, just a feedback, at least on Steam, as soon as i start this app, the game stops me from finding any online matches.

Hey I'm glad you like it.

I don't believe Player-Displayer can cause you to not get any games, simply because all it does is READ the data of your game. It doesn't modify the data or even connect to the internet (except if it's to display the name in-game or to get info on your opponent but these things only happen AFTER the connection with another player has already been made and even if they happened before, it doesn't make sense for them to cause you to not get any games). All of this is true for every version of Player-Displayer.

However, Player-Displayer does, since update v1.4.3, connect to the Steam servers every few seconds to get info on all players playing. This new feature hasn't caused me personally to have any less opponents compared to what I normally would have had afaik but just in case I have turned this feature off by default in the latest release (v1.4.4). (You have to manually turn it on now by selecting "Ranked" or "Quick Match" etc. in the drop-down list.)

This might also help: Tekken 7, with or without running Player-Displayer, seems to have a bug that causes you to sometimes not get any matches at all anymore, which you can fix by restarting the game. In the game go to Online > Player Match > Search Sessions (choose Any) and if you don't get any sessions at all you probably have this bug.

I do get the bug sometimes but only after a long session, with the app on i have to restart the game everytime after getting 1 match, i tried again without the app running i can find matches no problem for about 2 hours.

i will keep trying and will let you know if i get diff result.

according to my observation, the application forces this bug when it receives information on players in the ranked

well, i downloaded and ran the most latest version.sadly the same thing happened.all the info is awesome BELEIEVE ME :) .... sadly i stopped getting ANY match after i rejected 1 or more matches..... :( EDIT: just to let you know, i was talking about the "Get info on players in: " drop down button.

Thank you very much for the excellent utility. I use your program to note a avoid trolling/hacking players and it has significantly improved my online experience. This feels like it should have been a base feature in the game to keep notes on players you've already played with.

Do you have a method by which we may offer donations for your generosity of time and skills?

Unfortunately I am experiencing the same issue mentioned here with versions 1.4.4 & 1.4.3. The only useable version for me remains 1.4.2. Otherwise I will reliably stop being matched online. I let it sit for 30+ mins out of curiosity with no matches. As soon as I restart the game and switch to the older version, the issue disappears and doesn't return.

Practically speaking there is no difference between versions 1.4.4 and 1.4.2 but only as long as you don't touch the "Get info on players in" thing in the bottom right corner of version 1.4.4.

I think people don't realize (and I don't blame them) that this feature (the one that might be causing the matchmaking issues since version 1.4.3) is optional and doesn't need to be activated if all you care about is the name and location of the opponent.

If you do activate it (by selecting "Ranked" or "Quick Match" etc.) you will be able to see (some of) the people that are in the queue + their character and rank.

So I released a new version (1.4.5) with the problematic feature still in but with a warning message above it.
