Issue Description

I can't edit the value in the color matrix UI

What did you expect to happen?

To be able to edit the value in the color matrix UI.

What happened instead?

I can't edit the value in the color matrix UI, any new input will be ignored.

Why is this bad/What are the consequences?

I can't use the color matrix.

Steps to reproduce the issue.

VV a mob or item, open up the color matrix and try to edit a number and realise you can't.

When did the problem start happening?

no clue.

This is a chronic issue for me (and Gatcha has mentioned it too). You can drag the values for about a quarter of a second before it freezes out and you're left with an error window:

It's getting in the way of quite a bit of adminery for me, which is sad.
