Guns being fired causes HUGE stuttering #26528

Exploit Reports

BYOND Version

515.1639

Issue Description

The mere act of firing a gun seems to cause my game to hitch. This effect gets worse if more than one gun is being fired, and basically makes being in a gunfight for me impossible to do anything useful.

What did you expect to happen?

To shoot stuff

What happened instead?

A few miliseconds (sometimes seconds) of frozen frame. Oh, they're several tiles away now.

Why is this bad/What are the consequences?

It pretty much makes using a gun effectively impossible for me, and if there's more than one person on screen shooting at eachother, things slow down to a crawl.

Steps to reproduce the issue.

Be me or Anya, witness a gunshot or fire a gun.

When did the problem start happening?

Honestly it feels like it's been around for a while, I just never knew if it was worth reporting or not.

Extra information

Ping is fine, and my mouse cursor isn't stuttering or anything? I don't know how to tell if it's an FPS drop or what's happening.

Relevant log output/runtime error

I also have been dealing with this, using shotguns is a bit difficult currently because my game hitches the moment I fire one.
