Flag library and flag importing #20

Flags should be imported from the Vic3 savegame, except for those defined in this converter's library, which will overwrite them. In short, the library should be used to "align" some flags towards vanilla results.

Hey Gents, I Just converted a Vic3 savegame to HOI4 and noticed that most countries don't have a flag and the flags that do show up are assigned randomly to countries it looks like. The converter showed a Warning: "Ran out of available flags." and another one: "Could not copy all flags." hopefully this info is helpfull and you guys can find the solution.

Yep, the converter only does minimal flag conversion so far, that's expected.

So this is by design? I would imagine that HOI4 has a large amount of flags or even a flag-builder tool. Any tips on how to assign the flags in my converted save game manually?

Not design as such, we just haven't gotten around to a fully fleshed out feature. In the meanwhile, HoI4 generally assigns flags by tag. Modifying the converter's tag mappings would be the fastest way to give a country an existing flag you like.
