TTD-TCN data sharing standards #1

The Tri-Tropic TCN developed a series of standards/controlled vocabularies to share interactions found during that project. Arthropod Easy Capture was the database used for this project, developed at the AMNH

These data are shared through iDigBio and Global Biotic Interactions. The repository that links to the Arthropod Easy Capture RSS feed

@neilcobb It is not clear that the TTD data coming into SCAN contained all of the fields, however the associatedTaxa field would have the known associate

It is not entirely straightforward to bring multiple fields into Symbiota that do not have a one-to-one match because those fields would need to be put together into dynamicProperties (in json format). So the conversion of many fields into one field as it presently is in Symbiota.

I am also not sure that you can map to dynamicProperties in the upload tool.

I can see about dynamicProperties and you are a superadmin so you can check anytime you get bored.

@neilcobb I can confirm that dynamicProperties is both included in the exported darwin core archive file and able to be mapped during import.
