Email gives error at server startup #245

I see some errors both on staging and production, on startup: (node:3494) UnhandledPromiseRejectionWarning: Unhandled promise rejection (rejection id: 2): TypeError: Cannot read property 'mail_server' of undefined (node:3494) DeprecationWarning: Unhandled promise rejections are deprecated. In the future, promise rejections that are not handled will terminate the Node.js process with a non-zero exit code.
