This repository only holds the list of bugs that have been reported for IFs. Anyone may add a bug report, but please look to see if your issue has already been added!
Jackkie Cilliers reported on February 16th, 2022 there were inconsistencies in poverty numbers at the $3.2 and $5.5/day level, between Flex Displays/Self-Managed and the Poverty Display. The reason for that is the Poverty Display is out of date, and has not been updated since we added those 2 variables to the model (INCOMELT320LN and INCOMELT550LN), back in January of 2021.
The poverty display uses log normal distribution to estimate different levels of poverty, and tries to converge into the variables that are actually saved in the model, 1.1, 1.9 and 3.1, so for those levels we're actually using the saved forecast, for any other we're doing estimations on the fly, which might be a little different from what the model produces.
Need to update the poverty display to include 3.2, 5.5. But will also need more changes when we change to $2017 Dollars.
