Net Energy Shortfalls & Depleted Stocks W/O Forward Linkages

  1. squeez is hardcoded as off, but turning it on leads to immediate concerns with the behavior of France and Germany a. Trade seems like it could be a driving factor, with some of the immediately poor behavior that seems unintuitive. (Mainly a hunch at this time)
  2. May be related to ENDEM initialization and trade not being considered (or maybe it just needs a buffer for when trade dynamics start driving trade)?

The issue emerged with version 8.20.

It appears to be mitigated for France and Germany in 8.32. Afghanistan sees similar behavior, but at least squeez is re-enabled as of 8.32 by removing a hardcoded line setting it to zero.
