Thanks for reporting the sudden crashes in IE 7. I you could post the steps to
reproduce a particular crash this would be very helpful for our DEV Team.

I am experiencing a similar issue.
We are a small consulting firm, and converting to SalesForce.com. The
projectForce
app looks like it could meet our needs. For evaluation purposes, this app was
successfully installed without any indications of errors. The installation was
for
Administrators only. (Also noted, there already exists another app with the
name
"Project" for its title. I suspect that this is another colleague evaluating
something similar.
After installation, I attempted to create a new project.
Entered information for all fields.
Received the same error messages reported in post by "jaemsweatherall".
Apex trigger pf.ProjectBeforeInsert caused an unexpected exception, contact
your administrator: pf.ProjectBeforeInsert: execution of BeforeInsert
caused by: System.QueryException: List has no rows for assignment to
SObject: (pf)
We are on SalesForce.com Enterprise.
The browser used is Firefox v3.6.2
The OS is Windows XP Professional
I am the administrator for our SalesForce.com site.
Anything else you need to know, I would be happy to provide (if possible).

Additional actions taken:
1. Uninstalled projectForce
2. Reinstalled projectForce following each step in the installation examples
found
in the Wiki
3. Attempted to create a new project and received the same error message.

I was hoping to use this App and am receiving the same error message. Highly
frustrating as the features look great!

Same error for me when I create a new project from the project tab, plus I
don't see
the 'Project Settings' tab.
pf version 1.2.1
OS Windows 7
Browser ff 3.6
Also, I do not have the following Custom Option Permission choices : Activities,
Member Activities, Project Activities, TaskActivities, TaskAssigneeActivities.
Maybe the installation documentation hasn't been updated yet and those are no
longer
needed?

I also receive the same error when saving a new project from the Projects tab. I
followed the installation instructions but had no luck. I am logged in as the
administrator.
Error: Invalid Data.
Review all error messages below to correct your data.
Apex trigger pf.ProjectBeforeInsert caused an unexpected exception, contact your
administrator: pf.ProjectBeforeInsert: execution of BeforeInsert caused by:
System.QueryException: List has no rows for assignment to SObject: (pf)
Could someone confirm if this has been fixed? If so, would someone provide some
guidance or things to check.
If there is a work around, could someone provide the steps?
Thank you for your support.
