New (Major) Parrot Suggestion #14

When I first got into security/pen. testing, what I first used was Kali Linux. It's been a while since I've used it, but they have made something phenomenal I've been using lately: Kali Nethunter. Kali Nethunter is a "mobile hacking platform" which when installed installs several apps, such as cSploit, Shodan, and a terminal that allows you to run an entire Kali chroot on your phone! You can even install a custom kernel to use packet injection (monitor mode) out even a HID Keyboard (like the USB Rubber Ducky) over USB! And to install it, all you need to do is flash a .zip file in custom recovery.

However, it's kinda buggy and I'd love to see a mobile ParrotSec platform like this. I hope you consider this idea.

If you do this, please make Magisk first priority instead of SuperSU.

I'd love to help, but I've never done mobile development before, so I might need to learn a few things...

Thanks in advance!

Hi i would love to work on something like that, but we don't have enough funds and contributors to work on such project

keeganjk commented 6 years ago

@PalinuroSec OK. I wish I knew about Android development or any app development. If I did, I could help. (Maybe I should learn?)

guardog commented 5 years ago

@PalinuroSec perhaps we could attempt a rollcall of potential android devs again? long shot but worth a try!

PalinuroSec commented 5 years ago

we don't need android app developers, we need android system developers, which is a completely different thing

guardog commented 5 years ago

Sorry that's what i meant otherwise we will only be rolling out play store versions of anonsurf and firejail lol but i think we def need an android system image

PalinuroSec commented 5 years ago

yeah, it is not a priority for us, but if the community wants to do that, then all the community have to do is to start working on it.

the core team does not have the necessary resources (expertise and time) to do that, but it should not stop the community from working on it

What are your thoughts on the future plans for the anticipated next rpi image?
