Description

As a user, I would like to navigate through the ASV collection using an interactive map as a search/visualisation tool.

We have to take into consideration, that the present metadata is incredibly unprecise. We're used to have geolocation of media being accurate by a few meters. But in the case of the Brunner collection for example, we have a precision down to town. That would mean in a visual representation on a map, we'd have a few hundered images clumped together at the calculated center of the town.

That's a very good point. But I'm confident that we will find a good design solution to handle this. There is a lot of research available on visualizing uncertainty for information visualization and maps.

Thank you for the input. Sounds promising and I'm looking forward to learn more about these approaches.
