YouTube already has a shortcut for this, you just press Ctrl
+ left or right arrow
and it will jump to the previous/next respective chapter. Does it not work for you?
PS: they really need to update their docs to include at least the new chapter shortcuts https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/7631406
Well I look like a fool don't I lol
I swear I looked it up and couldn't find anything but yep that works... 😅
It would be nice to have a feature where if you press a button, or button combination, the video goes forward to the start of the next chapter. For instance, if a video has a chapter at 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00, and you are at 1:04, pressing the shortcut will go to 2:00. After 3:00, it could either do nothing or loop around to 0:00. As for the hotkey in particular I am not sure, perhaps Alt-N, or simply just N (because of the relation to shift-n to go to the next recommended video or playlist video).
