With the removal of the option to restore the classic YouTube layout so does this extension. As it was announced before this extension would receive bug fix support until this day came and even then there are some that I never had the time to spare.

It has been one incredible journey and I am grateful for having shared this experience with every one of you - be it good or bad experiences - but it is now time to end it.

Almost 3 years have been poured here, with my hearth and soul and now I hope to keep the best of this going with Iridium, the replacement of this extension for the new Material Layout.

I understand that we can still revert to the old layout by non-official methods, but that's already outside the scope of what I was willing to do and to those users I can only apologize, but from here on YT+ will not be receiving any further updates.

If anyone wishes to maintain the project please contact me beforehand.

Thank you.

Whoa whoa whoa.. They removed that option? And I was just starting to wonder when the new YT design was going to be forced on everyone. It's been semi-live/live for about 2 years..

Any idea/guess when it will be forced for everyone? I have tried using the new design but only ever managed a day or so and then reverted back because some things are idiotic or ugly or too different. Luckily I am still currently on the old design..

In any case.. Thank you so very much for this amazing addon and for keeping it going with Iridium.

By using that script: https://greasyfork.org/de/scripts/32906-get-me-old-youtube You can still get the old youtube design

Everyone needs to get the above script, confirmed working for me. Chrome already had to use userscripts to get This working and this is just 1 more script to get it working again.
