I must conclude I can only write to my calendar but not read back.

The plugin is working with Google. Enable caldav_debug just before creating an
event. Then create the event and post the log file. It is located in
Roundcube's log folder as either CalDAV or fsockopen.

I have enabled caldav_debug but the consequence is only a cURL log. do you want
me to post it ?

I have deleted the log. Please browse to calendar. Then delete curl log and
create an event in a Google calendar. Post this snippet of the log.

There you go.
As I said creation of events goes fine but when I sync the event disappears as
if I could write to the calendar but not read.

Did you grant access to your Google calendar?

Google has a captcha validation which disallows clients to access Google
resources (Mail accounts, calendars, addressbooks).

To pass the captcha validation follow the link in settings -> calendar "Grant
access to your Google Account".

If you can't solve it yourself, please contact me: myroundcube [at] mail4us
[dot] net.

I need an IMAP test account, the webmail url, FTP access to Roundcube root
folder (full permissions) and PHPMyAdmin access to Roundcube database.

I did follow the link quite a few times . It leads me to a google page with a
single button that I clicked and tried to connect to the calendar within the
following 10 minutes as instructed. No visual captcha though.

There is no visual captcha. Google's client access validation is IP-Range based.
Send me the remote access data please.

I've got to check with my supervisor/client, i keep you posted.

Original comment by hab...@habett.org on 19 Jan 2013 at 8:47

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
If your supervisor/client does not agree to grant me remote access for any
reason, your alternative is to register an account @ mail4us.net and to
reproduce the issue there. Once reproduced, let the account alone and mail me
the access data for your mail4us.net account.

If you can't reproduce it on our systems there is no way to help you without
having remote access. Teamviewer session is welcome as well.

One last idea until I hear from you again ...
Which calendar/calendar_plus version do you have installed. In outdated
versions there was a problem with ctags which could result in vanished events
(not really vanished, only vanished from the local database cache which handles
events injection into jquery fullcalendar).

calendar is 11.0.13 - 2013-01-18
calendar_plus is 1.0.9 - 2013-01-12

That's ok, I'll wait for your next steps as suggested.

While waiting for authorization, i can only guess that the problem lies within
google security because roundcube nor menant.org are listed as authorized app
in google center. I have even tried to create an app specific password for that
calendar, to no avail.
