Not being able to go up any amount without a air bottle feels really wrong, could this be tweaked?

I will look into exposing that as a gamerule

Just to clarify I don’t think you should just go up if you look slightly upwards, just that when you look slightly upwards the glider will gain height until you run out of momentum like the eytra.
