One thing I just noticed - how do we want death to work in these? Should players just respawn in the arena? If so, these are really easy and provide no challenge.

The way this works in PoE is you open up 6 portals, which each person uses a portal when they enter. So if you were solo you'd get 6 tries. If you were a party of 6 you'd get 1 try.
I'm in favor of a similar approach. We could probably track the amount of times the portal was opened and close it automatically after x uses?
Would we just disallow more than 6 players from entering a domain? Aside from that, works for me. Maybe a more standard lives counter would work, with 1 or 2 players getting a little bit of extra breathing room.

I'm fine with starting with 6 as the number, we could move to something else in the future but that sounds like a good approach to me for the time being to at least mirror PoE
Can do then. First, I need to remember how to merge a conflict that isn't resolvable on web, then I'll split that into its own ticket and do it after I do the Ravencrest entrance structure.

I know I am inactive, but regardin' this: 6 portals could be spawned by default and if there are more than 6 active player, then spawn additional portals to let everyone join the fight.

Works for me, especially for the playtest.
Looks like 1 lint issue remaining. Also do we need to be concerned with the potentially sharp ledges they'd need to drop down? If they can't build they'd be forced to take dmg without some sort of double jump accessory no?
