How is Path of Building expected to behave?

It should start in around 1 to 2 seconds as per usual

How does Path of Building behave?

PoB takes around 20 /30 seconds to open up since the latest update, before that if took roughly a second to launch.

Other than that it runs perfectly well in the app.

Trying to use a previous version and update from there doesn't seem to help either.

My Specs : Proc : AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core Graphic card : 4070 RTX Super Ram : 32GB OS : Win 11

The vdieo was too big, not sure it will be that helpful, but just to showcase how slow it is https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1KrFPXlNZjNztmvegarrFpqEeR2MY3Lrm?usp=drive_link

When you say "previous version", which version are you referring to? Or what was the latest version that still started up quickly for you?

I was working fine on POB yesterday, so it should be : Working fine on 2.41.0 Issue on 2.41.1

I'm using the basic windows defender for now, still deciding on what I should use.

I tried doing a fresh install and deactivating my antivirus before posting here.

Nothing spikes on the task manager when I launch POB.

In the end it's not a super big deal, but I couldn't find any info about that issue

We suspect that this is caused by some uncooperative HID devices that time out during enumeration of input devices. See https://github.com/PathOfBuildingCommunity/PathOfBuilding/issues/7503 for more information and a tool that can be used to hide such devices, and a potential fix to test. Common devices that can malfunction in this way is Corsair keyboards, iCUE RGB tooling and similar types of hardware; it's a long-running plague on many apps and games.
