Linkouts from PathVisio Backpage tab of a gene node to web databases do not work

Not sure if already known... I did not see a similar issue so I just write it up for the next release ;)

• Affymetrix - log in required - is that intended, shall we keep that?
• Agilent, Illumina - not a link, just a number - is that intended?
• Ensembl - see also patch #146 and #147 https://github.com/bridgedb/BridgeDb/pull/146 I made for WikiPathways/BridgeDb
• Omim links to gene AND disease OMIM IDs - is that intended?
• UniGene - does not work, page not longer available
• WikiGenes - page does not load, tried several times

Thanks, Freddie. I am aware of most of those. Can you please submit this issue also on the BridgeDb repo? PathVisio retrieves all the information (links, etc.) from there. Some of the issues might be solved with updated brigdedb code in the next PathVisio release (@egonw?).

I was not sure if the update on BridgeDb would also include PathVisio. I saw after Egon implemented that patch that the linkouts on WikiPathways to Ensembl work again, but not in PathVisio - so I thought that might need a patch, too ;)
