Keybord layout not available

I have installed and activated the Scandinavian Keyboard with Danish layout and 
dictionary. But when I go to use it in a program fx. Gmail, sms (Handcent) the 
keyboard layout available is only English or Chinese (where did that come 
from????)

This is something that has happened recently. I have used the Scandinavian 
Keyboard with Danish layout for a long time with no problem. I have checked the 
setup again and again. Installed, reinstalled. Rebooted phone again and again 
but still no other then English and Chinese layout. I suspect that it is 
probably an update for an app I have installed which creates the conflict. Only 
I don't know which one.

Anyone with same problem and a solution?!?! Please :-)

I have the same problem (but with swedish keyboard) on my Huawei. It suddenly 
stopped working and now I just get the regular english keyboard

After pulling almost all of my hair out I solved the problem. What I was 
experiencing was that it was not possible to activate the Scandinavian keyboard 
through the android settings.

I do not remember the solution protocol 100% but I think after uninstalling and 
reinstalling a few times I saw an option inside the Scandinavian keyboard app 
where I could activate the keyboard. So try to uninstall and then reinstall and 
pay extra attention when installing the app. 

I think that this is probably how it was designed to start out with but why 
Android "forgot" my Scandinavian keyboard in the first place I don't know. So 
try to go back and install it as if it was the first time.

Thanks!!!
had to click a button that said "choose it" straight after downloading it. That 
was the second button from the top. If I clicked the top button it would not be 
installed correctly
