No I think it's due to a hard hat update. Just copy and paste and files from the repo that are missing. You can check my repo if you need help
That’s an update on hardhat, But you can choose JavaScript boiler plate or typescript boiler plate, it has the advanced setup too
Where are you getting these boilerplate options from I only have what is shown above by shawn?

there is no real answer besides just to git clone the repository. The previous solutions at the beginning of the linked thread didnt work for me
