Bot betting $1 during MM

Sometimes when watching the bot bet during matchmaking it sometimes bets tiny amounts like less than $500 and sometimes even as low as $1. I didn't notice this happening when my overall salt was less than a million but once I got into the millions (currently sat with $12m) the betting amount became seemingly random. Was just wondering if this is expected behaviour or if there is a fix for this?

How much does it usually bet (rough estimate)?

I'd say the usual bet ranges from around 4-8k, and sometimes it'll bet around 15k but I don't think I've ever seen it bet over 20k. But around every 10-20 bets it'll bet somewhere in the low thousands/hundreds or it'll just bet 1 during MM. https://ibb.co/RQV31Ws It usually doesn't bet like this as frequently in the picture but it's a good show of what it does sometimes

That sounds correct. There are a few reasons why it sometimes bets low:

• It doesn't have enough data on one of the fighters.
• The Elo for one of the fighters is too chaotic, which means the outcome is uncertain.
• The Elo of the two fighters is close. In that case there's no point in betting, since it's basically a 50/50 chance of making profit.

It makes money by betting on upsets, and it prefers to bet when it's fairly certain of the outcome, so that way it doesn't lose too much money. So the less certain it is of the outcome, the less money it bets.
