Doesn't work at all on Chrome Stable for Mac OS X. #105

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Clicking on the icon does not bring up anything whatsoever. No activity. Nothing happens.
Unless I've just cleared my cookies, there is no badge indicating the number of open
tabs. Clicking on "options" just takes me to a blank page. In short, the extension
doesn't work. I've tried uninstalling, then re-installing, as well as restarting Chrome
and restarting my computer, but no dice.

As someone who can have up to 50 open tabs at once, I'd really love to be able to use
this extension, as it seems to have all the functionality that I'd like. Please help!

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I'm using Chrome 7.0.517.44, on Mac OS X (10.6.3).

Please provide any additional information below.

Looks like issue 92 all over again. Alright, please follow these steps, so I can see
what the problem is:

1. Go to Wrench -> Tools -> Extensions.
2. On the upper-right, there is a toggle called "Developer mode". Make sure it shows
a minus sign.
3. Scroll down until you find Tab Organizer within the list.
4. There should be a little area called "Inspect active views:"
5. Underneath that, there should be a link called "background.html"
6. Click on "background.html", then take a screenshot, then post the screenshot in
this bug.

P.S. Upgrading to Chrome Beta should solve this issue for you, but please don't do that
yet! I want to fix this issue for other people too.

Each time I tried to load "background.html" it caused Tab Organizer to crash (although
loading it for other extensions worked fine). On a few tries, it also caused other
extensions to crash as well (Speed Dial and FreshStart, which I then disabled). Not
sure if this will be helpful. Let me know if you want me to expand those categories
on the right side (metrics, properties etc) - I can try but it crashes too quickly.

Here's the screenshot I finally managed to take.

Thank you for such a prompt response! Your work on this is very appreciated.

Yeaaaah that doesn't tell me anything. Thanks for the screenshot, though. It's likely
a problem in Chrome, since extensions aren't supposed to be able to crash stuff.

Unfortunately, that means your best bet is to upgrade to Chrome Beta. It kinda seems
like the Mac version of Chrome is flakier than the other two...

P.S. The reason the other extensions crashed is probably because they ended up sharing
the same process as Tab Organizer, so you should be able to re-enable them without
any problems.

I upgraded to Chrome Beta, and it works great on it (except for the keyboard shortcut
to open it - I tried several different combinations, but none worked). Definitely an
awesome, must-have extension. Thank you for making it!

Good, good. I'll leave this bug open in case anybody else finds new clues as to why
it breaks.

Weird about the keyboard shortcut, though... Like I said, I think the Mac version of
Chrome is a bit... flakier. That is filed as issue 107.

It's been a long time since Chrome Stable 7, so I'm going to assume this bug is fixed.
If anybody is still experiencing issues, please post in this bug or start a new issue.
