Cannot open bubble with keyboard shortcut

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Switch the "Display in a ..." option to bubble
2. Press the keyboard shortcut
3. It opens in a window

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expecting the extension to open in a bubble. It opens in a window instead.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 4.1, Windows 7, 64 bit

Please provide any additional information below.
Clicking on the icon opens the bubble, but the keyboard shortcut does not.

Hm... I thought there was already a bug open for this... guess not. Anyways, yes, I
know. There isn't anything I can do about it, because it's a problem in Chrome.

Unfortunately, it appears the Chrome team has decided that extensions *should not*
be allowed to open the popup bubble. Thus, this is the best I can do for now. If you
want, you can go bug them in issue chromium:30491
