When closing a tab, it will sometimes "jump" before scrolling to the correct tab. #3

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Close a tab (for instance, with Middle Click).

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It should scroll to the newly-focused tab.

Instead, it scrolls to the top of the window container, then quickly scrolls to the
newly-focused tab. This makes it appear as if it "jumps". It only happens sometimes.

Please provide any additional information below.
It appears to be caused by the asynchronous time between closing a tab, and a new tab
gaining focus.
