is it possible to add a feature that drags to select tabs?
(similar to dragging in window explorer will select files and folders)

Yes, but I worry about the usability of such a system. Maybe a user-selected option...

In the meantime, doesn't Ctrl and Shift work?

I still plan to do this... just not for version 3.0. I'll try to get it in for 3.1,
though.

Sorry this has dragged on so long. I don't think this will be very easy to do, and other
things have gotten in the way. In addition, using Shift is a good alternative, so I
haven't been in a huge rush to implement this.
