CCSP Position worth reviewing? #146

Wanted to open an issue to review the relative rating of the CCSP on the chart. It seems in recent years, particularly with DoD's adoption of it as an IASAE III qualifier paired with the CISSP - this puts it as DoD equivalent to a CISSP + a concentration (ISSAP or ISSEP). Given the DoD (NSA) worked with ISC2 to create the ISSEP to begin with, I think the DoD's new stance on putting the CCSP on the same level as the concentrations merits consideration. Source on the NSA involvement: https://web.archive.org/web/20110929122624/https://www.isc2.org/PressReleaseDetails.aspx?id=3334

It's more circumstantial, but I feel it's worth highlighting that ISC2 is also pushing to position the CCSP as a more valued cert in recent years, and it seems to be working if the DoD is shifting their value of it to be higher. https://www.isc2.org/landing/powerduo/cissptoccsp

While it's certainly not on the level of difficulty of the concentration exams, it seems like the guaranteed five years of cloud/architecture security experience and professional endorsement the certification comes with and the increased value in the workforce in recent years would merit placing the certification at least a little bit higher. Perhaps around/above the rank of the FCSS PCS or MS-100 in the same bracket? They both have an easier bar of entry (no requirements pre or post exam, from what I can tell) and a lower average salary at this point.

Its position isn't far off from what I think it should be, it just seems like it's worth putting a bit higher noting all of these circumstances.

I write this after having provisionally passed the CISSP exam with plans to acquire the CCSP in a year or two - more to eventually have it and fill educational requirements at the same time. I have studied the majority of the content for the certification at this point.
